Leila Kreuger is the character of Emma in the Eyes Wide Open campaign.

Leila is a hermetic order mage from the house Criamon. She was active in her covenant in the Swartzwald forest, around 1650(?), as magic was disappearing from the world. In a desperate attempt to save the covenant she was instrumental in coming up with a plan, and making a deal with the fae. Unfortunately, the deal did not turn out as Leila and her fellow mages anticipated and instead of being saved, they were trapped unable to escape for almost 300 years. When the Germans started experimenting with magic, Leila was released into the mundane world and has been wandering Europe in search for a way to restore her own magic and save her fellow mages.

In the first session she was played, she had joined Third Eye, and was acting as a guide, keeping her true identity hidden. When the group freed a group of children captured on a train, Laila was rewarded by the fae that also was trapped, and regained a smidgen of her connection to magic, being able to sense and cast some spells again. She revealed to one of her companions her true identity when they found the old outpost of her covenant.

Complications

Leila has found out that her covenant has been frozen in time by nobody less than Mab the queen of the winter-court. And if she wants the break them free... a deal is available.
