Mary Jones, (Captain), is the new character of Emma in the Pyri mutant campaign.

Background

Mary is a citizen of Pyri, and grew up in Holm. She studied medicine, with the speciality of forensic medicine at the Pyri university before resaddling her career and setting sail together with her future husband Calico Jack, the pirate captain. Mary met Jack at a bar in Holm during one of his trips to the Pyri capital. They had a whirlwind romance and Jack invited her to join him on his ship. Mary accepted the offer, looking for a more exciting life and wanting to spend more time with her new love, joining Jack as a privateer on his ship. She quickly learned the ropes, (so to speak) and became a proficient sailor. Eventually earning the rank of co-captain, as she married Jack in a ceremony on the open sea.

Personality

Mary has a reputation for being a vicious pirate captain, mostly because of her and Jacks hijacking of ships in the Baltic Sea. Even if she has a reputation as vicious, she is normally not one to advocate killing prisoner, rather enjoying the challenge of finding the most inventive way to maroon or otherwise send their victims on their way. Mary loves the attention of a good flirt. Neither she or Jack are particularly monogamous and they see it as an adventure to court unsuspected victims, having a history of leaving them with a night of passion and an empty pocket. Their conquests are a fun competition between them, especially if it leads to more coin in their coffer. Mary likes strong men and women. She is attracted to adventure and as long as it walks on two legs, she does not discriminate. She has two loves in her life, one is Jack and the other is Rum. Her love for her husband makes her willing to take the fall for him, if so needed

Sessions

Mary was instrumental in brining the group, back to Holm after their trip to Rus. Returning Doctor All Ears and Ivar to Holm. Unfortunately, once in Holm her crimes caught up with her and after not kidnapping the Empress Tanja, Mary was put to trial and sentence to penal labour, being seperated from Jack and set to work as a doctor, in Dalen with the other characters. Mary settled into the village taking up recidence in the health central. Patrick the guard, had his work set up for him as Mary flirted and tried her usual tricks. She picked up Lupus the mid-wife, and attempted to trick Ivar into making her breakfast. Mary did have a talk with Patrick and promised to be on her best behaviour, and Patrick would help her locate Jack.
